The Tania de Paola Dance Company

The Company was founded in Lausanne in 1999 with its first show In the Garden of the Fat Lady  at the Vidy Theatre, following the inspiration of Rene Gonzales.

In 2008, the show The Bathroom, performed in 1’000 liters of water, and played for two years in Switzerland and abroad, followed by Kyriadie, which impressed even more with its mix of artistic disciplines. A mix that is the choreographer's trademark.

The choreographer and her team are now preparing Où est Charlie

Tania Paola has always had the avowed purpose of mixing various disciplines to allow an even greater space for expression and creation.

Her artistic productions are welcomingly called "Dance-Theatre" because, not only is dance central, but the choreographer calls upon painting, sculpture, text, video and music to express herself fully . Thus, dance - one art among others and with others - is not just a physical act, but becomes a powerful means of expression.

We thus find, in each creation by the company, not only dancers and actors, but also singers, musicians, or even circus performers.
